ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING 2023/2024

The AGM for the Nairn Literary Institute will be held on Friday 22nd March 2024 at 7.30 p.m. in the Conference Room, Nairn Community Centre.   Full notification and relevant documents will be sent out to all members by 7th March 2024.

The short AGM will be followed by refreshments and entertainment by our talented local musician, David Godden.

All members are cordially invited to attend and take the opportunity to get involved with preparations for steering the Nairn Lit through our 150th Anniversary celebrations in 2025.  In addition, we will be discussing two other important issues of concern to members; the first is which evening of the week we should meet, and the second is the venue for future meetings.  These issues were raised at the last AGM, but now seriously need to be addressed.  The Committee will float proposals for discussion by members and this will be an opportunity for all members to make their views known.

New Committee members will also be essential to the continued existence of the Institute, so anyone willing to step up and join the Committee is especially urged to get in touch with Pauline Fraser (Secretary) at info@nairnliterary.org.uk.

We look forward to welcoming you to the AGM and hope that you will take this opportunity to help chart a way forward for The Lit for the next 150 years, and that more people will join the committee to help us in this task.
